It was a fantastic 2026 Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC!
Lioni had its most incredible experience yet at the 70th Summer Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center, an event that continues to set the standard for innovation, flavor, and connection in the specialty food industry.

From June 28 -30, the Lioni team joined over 2,500 exhibitors, and thousands of food enthusiasts, distributors, and retailers for a high-energy showcase of the best in global cuisine. The show was packed with flavors from across the world, new products, and fun and insightful conversations. Lioni was thrilled to share our own story—“A Taste of Timeless Italy”—as we connected with fellow makers and consumers.

Highlights from the Show

Lioni showed off its 2026 Mozzarella Tour sampling cart that brings an Old World fresh market tasting experience everywhere it goes
Lioni’s “Fresh Market” booth set-up was full of color, fragrance and flavor with an elegant Mozzarella Bar behind it for sampling Lioni products, Il Fornaio bread from Italy, and imported S. Bernardo Italian spring water
Lioni pleased a passionate audience with a look at our latest products, including our new vacuum-packed fresh mozzarella products
We shared flavorful samplings of our fresh products that speak of our passion and Italian family tradition with every bite
Lioni connected with top buyers, chefs, and food media
We gained insights into emerging food trends to look toward our future

Chef Locastro brings us his expertise in culinary arts with over 28 years of extensive experience including 5-Star hotels and Michelin-Starred restaurants In Italy. He also brings a piece of Italy to the Upper West Side on Amsterdam Avenue with an espresso bar, distinct desserts, and an Italian specialty food market with Italian pantry staples including Lioni’s fresh mozzarella. Congratulations to the Founders and Owners, Giuseppe & Salvatore Salzarulo for their induction into the SFA Hall of Fame! The SFA Hall of Fame honors individuals whose accomplishments impact contributions, innovations, and successes within the specialty food industry.
Salvatore and Giuseppe Salzarulo celebrated more than 30 years in the Specialty Food Industry, manufacturing an authentic, outstanding, specialty cheese product known as “the Mozzarella”. As dedicated masters in the fresh mozzarella business, their passion is derived from family roots deeply tied to Lioni, Italy, an extraordinary work ethic, and an intense commitment to their craft.

Summer Fancy Food Show 2023

Lioni had three incredible days at the Summer Fancy Food Show showcasing their fresh mozzarella products and connecting with both old & new friends. They celebrated the induction of Lioni’s founders into the SFA Hall of Fame as they were recognized for their accomplishments and contributions in the Specialty Food Industry.
Chef Orfino honored Giuseppe & Salvatore, owners of Lioni Latticini by preparing an Una Spaghettata per Onorificare at the Summer Fancy Food Show. A memorable occasion celebrating their induction into the SFA Hall of Fame. The Chefs dishes featured Lioni’s Stracciatella and Bufala Fresca Mozzarella with an extra special recipe for Ravioli highlighting Lioni’s new Ricotta di Bufala.
